We are specialists in handling large volume projects and a fast turn-around!

Included in our vast list of equipment, is the Xerox Docutech. This machine combines three advanced technologies -- digital scanning, laser imaging and xerography -- to bring together desktop publishing and xeroxing. The "Doc" has a finished output of up to 135 pages per minute! It can capture text and images from paper and convert them into digital masters, with 600 dpi resolution. We can revise, resize, screen photos, number pages, enhance images, update documents, merge text and photos from multiple originals into a single document. Finish your document with your choice of in-house cover stock, tabs and thermal bind if needed.

Oversize copies? No Problem! The Xerox 5080 will handle a document 8.5" x 11" to 36" x 192". High volume is not a problem with the automatic recirculating handler, which can produce 99 copies at once, as large as 36" x 96". The Xerox 2515 complements the 5080 to insure that your oversize reproductions are turned around promptly.

Put our Ocè 9535 and Seal Vacuum Press to work for you! We can do large-format copying on your choice of in-house bright, color stocks, foam core mount & laminate for that special presentation or POP display!

Litigation Support
MCD is the specialist for your litigation copying needs. When you have many transfiles and folders filled with legal briefs and documents, you can count on us to make those copies and make that court date! We handle a great deal of litigation work efficiently and accurately. That's why MCD is the place where Metro area's paralegals bring their work. Your documents are extremely sensitive -- we require complete confidentiality from our employees.

Our Xerox 1090 copiers have on-line pagination. This means your files are automatically numbered while the copies are being made. Any combination of 40 alphanumerics is available for you to use as your personal code. This makes for easy referral to specific pages. On-line numbering is very beneficial for efficiency and accuracy.

Ink-jet Pagination
MCD is setting a bold, new standard in the Litigation Support Market! We have found an inventive solution to aid in our preparation of your documents -- two-color, sequentially numbered and titled pagination.

In the interest of keeping up-to-date technologies at our fingertips, we now have a computed-controlled numbering system.

Digital Color Reproduction
Digital Control for Communications with Impact
MCD offers one of the most complete full color copying service centers in the area. Our six Canon Digital Color Copiers are equipped with slide adapters and EFI Fiery units and our HP NovaJet will print oversize color prints 36" wide to as long as 8 feet long! We output in full color from either original artwork, 35mm slides or disk. In a single step we can reduce your original by 50% or enlarge up to 400%, in 1% increments and with digital accuracy.

We can take your PC or Mac file direct to the laser color copier. Create beautiful full color flyers, dazzling presentation handouts and posters. Foam core mounting and laminating available for your sales meeting visual. We can prepare your transparencies as well.

Ad agencies, graphic artists and service bureaus enjoy seeing a full color proof of their art before it goes to press!

We can reproduce your image with an amazing 256 colors at 400 dpi for extraordinary attention to shading and definition.

Offset Printing
MCD offers one of the most efficient high-performance flat color offset printing services in the metropolitan area. Our state-of-the-art darkroom, stripping, plate burner and developer prepare your art for press. We employ two 2-color Hamada presses, one 2-color Ryobi, an ABDick and a 25" Heidelberg Kord to produce high quality flat color printing. To round-out this complement, we use a 36" power cutter, high-speed collators, stitchers and folders to finish your project to your exact specifications.

Our main plant has ample storage to stock, in-house, a wide range of coated and uncoated papers.

Graphic Arts
When you want a professional look, MCD can help. Our team of graphic designers and typesetters can prepare your artwork, letting you free to do your work. We want to assist you in attracting readers and communicate ideas.

Through on-going evaluations and timely acquisition of new equipment and software, MCD is prepared to meet the challenge of the future. Along with our second Linotronic imagesetter, two Mac workstations and a PC workstation, we have upgraded our scanning capabilities. Our Agfa StudioScanII will scan text, line art and color photos, which can be manipulated with the latest software and used in your next document.

Bindery
MCD has a full bindery service to put the finishing touches on your project. We offer . . .

Along with binding, we have a full service collating service, shrink wrapping system, and paper banding.

We are the place for your binder and seminar presentation projects. We can provide loose leaf binders, assemble the copied text with custom covers, spines, and tabs.

MCD is the only source for custom tabs in the area. We can typeset, print, die cut, three hole punch and mylar your tabs to exact specifications.

Shipping and Fulfillment Services
All our locations maintain a fleet of vans driven by a staff of courteous, well-trained drivers. In our metro areas, we have foot messengers to speed your delivery. Every job is boxed with care and labeled clearly to ensure its proper destination. When you call us with a project you need copied or printed, we are there in a timely fashion so that we can be started on it and get it right back to you . . . when you need it!

MCD has a complete and modern mailing system that can be used for a wide variety of shipping services. This system can calculate shipping charges automatically and accurately. Mass and bulk mailings can be done completely at MCD. Postage meter machines or our bulk rate permit can be used to insure efficient mailing. We can FedEx of UPS according to your instructions. Split deliveries are no problem!
